Flintoff married Rachael Wools in March 2005 at Knightsbridge, London. He has four children. He has the names of his wife and children tattooed on his left shoulder. Flintoff, once a Liverpool FC fan in his youth, is a supporter of Preston North End. In his 2005 autobiography, Being Freddie, Flintoff admitted he had little or no interest in football at the time and only visited the Etihad Stadium for the social atmosphere.
