Kim Se-jeong and NCT’s Do-young in Star Blossom
Doyoung and Kim Se-jeoung were chosen to be part of the same project, digital music by SM Entertainment. They did a duet in Star Blossom. The song was released on October 13th, 2017. The song is about two young people who fall in love with each other at first sight. In the video, their chemistry can be readily visible. But of course, it was only for the video. Kim Sejeong and Doyoung play an adorable couple in the music video, providing a visual representation of the sweet lyrics.
Many people are shipping them, and maybe Do-young was starting to think about it. While promoting the energetic title track “Kick It” from their second full-length album Neo Zone, NCT 127 appeared in an airing of SBS‘ Cultwo Show. They were also in the presence of another idol, Gugudan‘s Sejeong, who was also promoting her solo track “Plant.” At one point during the airing, Doyoung had thought of something and wanted to mention it to Sejeong. Since she was seated in front of him, that was a bit of a problem. When politely calling someone over, a person’s palm faces down while the person moves the entire hand up and down. He put his own twist on it, still keeping it polite. Bending half of his hand, he flapped it up and down in a funny motion. What?!? Such a cutie!
Kim Se-jeong Meets NCT’s Do-young After the Collaboration
His wait is finally over. After unveiling the music video teaser on October 12th, 2017, NCT’s Doyoung and Gugudan’s Kim Sejeong finally released the music video for their collaboration “Star Blossom” the next day. The music video is a part of SM Entertainment’s project called SM Station. The video opens with a soft piano melody, followed by Sejeong’s gentle, highly expressive croon. Then, viewers get to see the former I.O.I member as she gets ready for her date with Doyoung. The plot itself is going back and forth, showing the time when the duo started dating before going back to when they meet for the first time. The video ends with a rewind of their relationship, going back again to the moment when they first meet at a café.
Kim Se-jeong and EXO’s Sehun in Busted
A year after the airing of its first season, Netflix’s variety show titled Busted 2 was soon back on the screens on November 8th, 2019. The program is hosted by five permanent players, including Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Min, Park Min Young, EXO’s Sehun, Kim Sejeong of Gugudan, and a new figure who joined the detective team, actor Lee Seung Gi. Not long ago, a behind-the-scenes video was released showing the excitement of the players while completing the churning challenge. In the uploaded video, it turns out that Sehun and Sejeong were being asked to carry out a secret mission throughout the shooting process. “Now we are again on the set for the promotion of Busted 2. And today we will check the set and reveal the chemistry between the members,” explained Sejeong. The mission obtained by these two young idols is quite exciting. They have to successfully interfere with the other Busted 2 players. In fact, you have to ask for an autograph, play rock paper scissors, to the surprise of one of the players. Fortunately, the five missions that were each obtained by Sehun and Sejeong went perfectly.
Kim Se-jeong Called Sehun ‘Hyung’ Instead of ‘Oppa’
Kim Sejeong recently revealed the reason why she called Sehun of EXO Hyung. This Gugudan girl group member apparently prefers the title hyung to oppa. In interviews with the Busted 2 variety show cast members, Sejeong got a question about addressing Sehun with hyung. Usually, Korean women who are younger, address older men with the word oppa. She said that it had become her habit since she is only calling her older brother oppa. In an interview clip with the both of them, fans noticed the unique way Sejeong addressed Sehun. Sejeong referred to Sehun with the words “Sehun hyung,” instead of “Sehun oppa,” which is the correct way of addressing a male older than a female.
Kim Se-jeong and Cha Eun-woo in “Lotte Water Park”
Lotte Water Park just released a sweet commercial video for attracting visitors. The commercial video is starring handsome Korean idol Cha Eun-woo of ASTRO and beautiful lady Se-jeong of Gugudan. Their fans were freaking out because their K-Pop idols were in a video together. Se-jeong and Cha Eun-woo perform a very sweet interaction. This couple often passes each other and starts glancing at each other, until finally facing each other near the wave pool like a drama romance scene. But it’s like they have no time for dating. Meanwhile, besides being preoccupied and busy promoting with their respective groups, both Se-jeong and Cha Eun-woo were known to have begun to expand their careers into acting. Both of them have been taking part in dramas. Eun-woo took part in the drama The Best Hit and Se-jeoung took part in School 2017.

Gugudan’s Kim Se-jeong shared a photo from a surprise encounter backstage on M Countdown! Kim Sejeong shared a photo she had taken with ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo. In the caption, she wrote, “I met Lee Dong Min [Cha Eun Woo’s real name] during M Countdown! and he asked me to make a gesture for AROHA [ASTRO’s fan club name]. A face genius [Cha Eun Woo’s nickname] who is sincere in his love for fans.”
