VIVIZ’s Debut with “Beam of Prism”
After such a long wait, VIVIZ finally debuted on February 9, 2022, with the group’s first mini-album “Beam of Prism”. The song “Bop Bop” served as the album’s title track and came up with a music video as well. For those of you who haven’t known yet, VIVIZ consists of three members Eunha, SinB, and Umji, and they were all former members of GFRIEND. Currently, VIVIZ is managed by BPM Entertainment ever since 2021. The group’s name VIVIZ stands for ‘VIVId dayZ’ which also means that the group will become an artist who expresses their colors in the world confidently. Shortly after VIVIZ’s official debut, they got their first music show win for “Bop Bop” which made them the second fastest girl group after IVE to win a music show win a week after their debut. Meanwhile, the music video for “Bop Bop” has received over 12 million views. Aside from that, VIVIZ has participated as a contestant in the show Queendom 2. Along the way, the group prepared for their full-fledged entry into the U.S market as well.
